Indigo Blue

Just off the Atlantic coast, tucked between Fripp Island and Hilton Head, lies South Carolina's outermost barrier island. It is a place steeped in soulful culture, natural salt-tinged beauty, and magical light.

It is also the home of superstition, of loamy marine sediment in brackish wetland, alligators, abandoned plantations, and arcane spiritual practices.

This underlying darkness isn't readily apparent to Cassidy Myers when she arrives and begins to explore the quaintly exotic art gallery, marketplace, and driftwood-littered beaches. Along the way, she makes the acquaintance of enigmatic real estate developer Beau Rutledge and then Lee, the grand dame of the island's grandson.

As the dangerous undercurrent running beneath the sundrenched beaches and moss-draped forests begins to rise to the surface like black ink travelling through the veins of a luscious rose, Cassidy realizes it isn't all sunsets and seashells on Blue Island.
